This study is being done to learn more about a vision problem called age related macular degeneration. It focuses on a late stage form called geographic atrophy, which can slowly damage vision. Researchers will follow people for at least six months and do tests to see how their vision changes over time. They will also look at genes, inflammation in the body, and lifestyle factors to see if these are linked to how the disease gets better or worse. The goal is to better understand this condition and help improve care in the future.
Geographic Atrophy (GA) Secondary to Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD)

People can join this study if they are older than 55 years. They must have a vision problem called geographic atrophy in both eyes, which is a late stage form of age related macular degeneration. This condition slowly damages the center part of vision in both eyes.
