IIR-2023-1274 (Dry Eye from Sjogren's Syndrome) - Clinical Trial

¿Cuál es el Propósito de este estudio?

We are doing this study to learn more about how different factors affect people with two types of dry eye conditions: Sjögren's dry eye (SjD) and non-Sjögren's dry eye. Specifically, we want to know how neurotrophic keratitis (a condition where the cornea loses sensation) versus the severity of tear film and eye surface issues impact the structure and function of the cornea (the clear front part of the eye). We also want to find out if having dry eyes leads to less feeling in the cornea, and if this reduced feeling is linked to eye pain or pain in other parts of the body.

¿Cuál es la Condición que se está estudiando?

Sjögren's Dry Eye

¿Quién puede participar en el Estudio?

Adults ages 18+ who:

  • Are diagnosed with dry eye
  • Are diagnosed with Sjögren's Syndrome
  • Have no history of glaucoma surgery
