What is the Condition Being Studied?

Cáncer de mama

Who Can Participate in the Study?

Women ages 40-74 who:

What is Involved?

Si decide participar en el estudio, podrá:

  • Provide one breath sample
  • Fill out a survey
  • Give us permission to collect some information from your medical records

The survey will collect information about your basic demographics (e.g., birth year, height, weight, ethnicity), your risk factors for breast cancer, medical conditions, and current medications that you use (if any).

The breath sampling procedure will take approximately 60 minutes or more to complete. If you are asked to do a second breath collection procedure, it will take place at least 6 months after your surgery or post-surgery treatment if breast cancer is later detected.
