¿Qué Implica?

If you choose to join this study, you will get a random assignment to either:

  • Participate in the study as part of an assessment only control group; OR
  • Participate in the study skills training group

If you are assigned to the study skills training group, you will complete 10 weeks of remote weekly emotion regulation skills groups that last 2-2.5 hours each week and will take place over remote video (Zoom). Participants will also complete homework and daily diary questions about mood and any thoughts of self-harm.

Both groups will complete surveys and clinical interviews asking questions about your emotions, coping skills, and stress levels during 3 in-person sessions at our lab. Heart rate will be collected as well at each session.
