Wearables for Carotid Artery Stenosis - Clinical Trial
What is the Purpose of this Study?
We are doing this study is to see if we can predict carotid artery function using wearable technology (for example, a FitBit®).
What is the Condition Being Studied?

Who Can Participate in the Study?
We are enrolling 2 different types of candidates in this study:
- Cohort 1: Healthy adults ages 18+ who do not have any ongoing medical conditions that require regular medical care and/or routine medication (these participants will be the comparison group).
- Cohorte 2: Adultos de 18+ años a los que se les diagnostica estenosis de la arteria carótida y se someten a revascularización de la arteria carótida.

What is Involved?
Si aceptas participar, se te pedirá que lleves un FitBit durante 18 meses. También se le realizarán hasta cuatro ultrasonidos en los siguientes momentos después de su procedimiento de arteria carótica:
- 1 meses
- 6 meses
- 12 meses
- 18 meses
Los datos de estos ultrasonidos se recopilarán y se compararán con los datos registrados en el FitBit.
