¿Cuál es el Propósito de este estudio?

We are doing this study to test a device that tracks urine and stool output from people when they are in the hospital. This study is important because if the device works, it can improve patients' comfort while they are recovering from a stem cell transplant.

¿Quién puede participar en el Estudio?

Adultos de 18 a 80 años que:

  • Are scheduled to get a stem cell transplant (either your own cells or donor cells) for any type of illness
  • Are able to read and write in English
  • Do not have physical restraints (such as a stoma or catheter) that can get in the way of using the toilet device

¿Qué Implica?

Si decide participar en el estudio, podrá:

  • Be randomly assigned (like a coin flip) to either use the study toilet device or to continue using a standard toilet
  • Fill out questionnaires
